I’m Nazirul Hafiy, a Project & Operations Manager based in Kuching, Sarawak.
Background
Over the past 12+ years, I’ve delivered programs across government agencies, enterprise environments, and international startups. The settings changed; the work stayed grounded in the same thing: helping people move from ambiguity to reliable execution.
At Telekom Malaysia, I spent close to nine years progressing from campaign management into regional project leadership. I delivered multi-million ringgit connectivity and ICT initiatives across rural and urban Sarawak, coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
More recently, I worked independently with US-based startups on digital campaign operations, community engagement, product feedback, and quality assurance.
I’m PMP-trained and particularly interested in work where delivery, technology, and public impact meet.
How I work
- Make the work visible. Clear owners, milestones, risks, and decisions beat heroic last-minute effort.
- Translate across teams. Good delivery depends on technical, operational, and business people understanding one another.
- Fix the system, not only the symptom. A solved issue is useful; a better workflow keeps paying off.

hafiy.my is my small corner of the internet. It is hand-coded in HTML and CSS, with no framework and no JavaScript. Away from project plans, I enjoy anime and building small things for the web.
